Superheroes and unicorns and witches, oh my!
The halls of our Home were alight with Halloween spirit last week, as employees donned their best costumes for a lunch-time ‘parade’ through the dining rooms.
Brenda Hooker, Activities Director, took the mic and introduced each of our costumed characters, and Residents got quite a laugh out of seeing some familiar faces all decked out in wigs, silly outfits, and even some glamorous makeup. Festivities continued throughout the evening, as dozens of children and families filled the halls with laughter and excitement, trick or treating at Resident rooms, playing with balloon swords and animals made by Resident Joan Congable Mackay. Complete with an intricate and spooky ‘graveyard’ cake decorated by Admissions Coordinator Alicia Schultes, popcorn treats, prizes, and more, it was a Halloween we won’t soon forget!
