Last week, the second grade students at St. Christopher’s School trekked over to our Home in the rain to donate 50 turkeys and 50 hams for our Residents this holiday season. Accompanied by their Chaplain Mary Via and teachers Wanda Vizcaino, Amy Buerlein, and Glorietta Joneso, the boys were all smiles as they delivered their goods—a sibling even got in on the fun! Sister Ophelia met them outside to give a big Little Sisters’ ‘Thank you!’
Above, the boys pose with some of their donation—they brought so many that some carts had already been wheeled into the kitchen by picture time! During this season of thankfulness, we are so grateful to the second grade boys of St. Christopher’s School for their thoughtfulness and generosity!
