March 19 is a particularly festive day here in our home, as it is the commemorative feast day of our home’s namesake, St. Joseph. The day is one of numerous delights for our Residents, with a bounty of tempting foods, special activities, and even a visit from the members of the Association of Jeanne Jugan here in Richmond. Members treated Residents to table-service of a variety of wines as they dined on dishes like roast beef, twice baked potatoes, and even ice cream during their lunch hour. Smiles and laughter were in no short supply, and it was a true celebration as Residents enjoyed the company of their guests and the joyful spirit they brought to the home.
