Village Bank Debuts Bi-Monthly Food Truck Court with a Charitable Focus
This past Tuesday Village Bank hosted their first Food Truck Court in the parking lot of the Santa Rosa branch, right in our own backyard! We were contacted by an employee of the bank with the idea for bringing in food trucks twice a month for all the employees in the Forest Office Park, as well as the public, with a portion of the proceeds to be given to the designated local charity. For October, the designated charity is the Little Sisters of the Poor! For the opening day, Chick-Fil-A and Monique’s Crepes were on site for the hungry lunch crowd, as well as a representative from the Spinal Correction Center of Richmond sharing info and selling massage gift cards. We were also able to set up a little display of our own, featuring a raffle for Sister Jeanne Emanuel’s beautiful crocheted sets and a sampling of some of the unique items for sale at the Bazaar on November 14th. We are so thankful to our friends at Village Bank for thinking of us and organizing this great event, and look forward to many more.
