Spring is blooming here at the Little Sisters of the Poor! If you haven’t taken a stroll around our grounds lately you’ll want to slip on your walking shoes and take a peek at some lovely new changes. As part of the process of achieving his Eagle Scout ranking, local Scout Anthony Vinson began a landscaping project to provide color and blooms during all seasons here at our home. Anthony is a sophomore at Douglas Freeman High School, and was assisted by other members of his Boy Scout troop, troop 770, in his endeavor. The young men worked to create a more beautiful natural display, adding new plants and a stone pathway through the garden. The project was completed on April 26th and we are so thankful for the beautiful job these scouts have done!
